Psych Hike/Walk Group + optional lunch in collaboration with SD-CAMFT

Join us for a group outing and a great way to start your morning! Enjoy beautiful views and a chance to connect with your peers. Bring water, good walking shoes, snacks and smiles.

We're excited to be collaborating with the SD CAMFT chapter for our hike this month at Penasquitos Canyon Trail! We'll be hiking to the waterfall, which is approximately 3 miles on mostly flat terrain along a straight out-and-back trail. Participants are welcome to turn around at any point if they are unable to complete the full hike. We encourage everyone to move at their own pace and enjoy the experience in whatever way feels best for them. After the hike, we'll be having an optional lunch at Mike's Red Tacos located approximately eight miles from the trail. (Please note: that lunch will be self-pay for all attendees.) We look forward to connecting, hiking, and spending time together in nature.

This group typically meets the first Sunday of every month but will be the second Sunday since we will be collaborating with North County.

Event Details

When: Sunday, June 14, 2026 (registration closes morning of event)

Time: 9am-12pm (we will wait 15 minutes for any late arrivals)

Location: Penasquitos Canyon Trail (We will be meeting at the Ranch House at the end of the parking lot.)

Look for Tamalina and her black service animal, Amaya.

For: Members and Non-Members (family and friends are welcome to join)
