Building Emotional Intimacy With Couples Using Action

Romantic love can lead to our greatest joy and our deepest despair, and often the same defenses we developed to cope and survive in the past can get in our way in our most intimate relationship. In this didactic and experiential presentation, specific action-based tools will be taught to help couples lower their defenses, and deepen their level of intimacy and vulnerability in order to develop a more fulfilling relationship.

Jean Campbell, LCSW, TEP is a Board Certified Trainer and Practitioner of Psychodrama and Sociometry, a Trainer and Practitioner of Psychodramatic Bodywork® and a nationally known expert in psychodrama, trauma resolution, addiction/codependency recovery and somatic psychotherapy. As Executive Director of Xhale Retreats, and Director of the Action Institute of California, she provides personal growth workshops for individuals, couples and families, and facilitates training and personal growth workshops for professionals. Jean is committed to creating safe spaces to heal and to using action to effect change on a mind, body and spiritual level.

LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Interns, & Grad Students should attend.

This course meets the qualifications for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
